Thirty percent of Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related accident.

The effect of alcohol-involved accidents increases with injury seriousness. The cost of property damage is only 10 percent, the cost of nonfatal injury accidents account for 21 percent, and the cost of fatal injury accidents is 46 percent.
