Thirty percent of Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related accident.
In the year 2007, 6,532 passenger vehicle occupants age 14 and younger were involved in fatal accidents. For those children where seat belt use was known, 25 percent were unrestrained; among those who were injured fatally, 45 percent seat belts were not in use.
