Drunk Driving Statistics Part 21

Thirty percent of Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related accident.

It takes time and only time to sober a person up. The average person metabolizes alcohol at the rate of about one drink per hour. Drinking strong coffee, exercising or taking a cold shower will not help. About 23 percent of those 21 years of age and older surveyed report binge drinking during the past month. About 49 percent report that they did not drink any alcohol during that period.
